they might not produce 6 rockets an hour they might even have never launched a rocket (endgame does not denote a 'Megabase') they are bases that push the boundaries of the imagined. these bases have taken the base game and pushed it hard. Mega Base - The definition of a mega base is a base or factory of notable worth. That time of the game when I contemplate where I put my shrubbery. My Rail Network is essential by this point, usually running much more than a simple two lane route for the lines closest o my base, and all of the nearby resource patches have been essentially demolished, leaving more space for new production areas, or a nice shrubbery. My Robutts don't really carry around basic resources anymore like plastic or circuits, they're more utilized for the loading and unloading of trains, or the construction of large scale blueprints and new sections of the factory. By now I've gotten to the point where my production is mostly pulling off of the main belt, a lot of machines are produced automatically, and instead of hand crafting, I'm usually utilizing my logistics slots. Trains are normally more in use, and often required when playing games with RSO enabled. This includes moving the basic resource refining areas, or redesigning them completely. When I get to the point where my production chains rely more on Robutts than belts, I usually begin uprooting various parts of my factory to redesign them, taking the strain off my logistics network, and forcing my factory to rely more on the Main Bus, or even imported materials. There are usually a lot of long belts, and confusing belt intersections. Some high level and low usage things like chemical plants and refineries are still made in your pocket, but assembling machines, inserters, and sometimes miners/pumpjacks are made automatically. There's still a lot of focus on belt transport for resources, and fewer things are made by hand. Usually includes a Main Bus, and some pretty mid-game level production. Usually you're using a lot of simple machines, or burner machines to produce things. This stage is where you're walking everything around by hand, not using a whole lot of automation, and most things you're needing to craft by hands instead of running to a production line to retrieve it. Personally, for me its part of the progression for my maps. Look both ways before you cross the tracks. The only significance is life, which leads to the further wisdom. Every assembler is but a visitor to where it resides. Let your anxiety wash away as you perceive that every belt placed can be moved. Most games punish you for building, demolishing and rebuilding. Your mistakes have no cost but time, and the deconstruction planner even reduces that cost. Submit bug reports on the official forum.īlueprint Bot - Will render blueprints for you!
